  1. How do I determine which program is right for me?
    It really depends on what type of business you have and the goals of your business. If you want more content and want to manage it with the greatest amount of control on your own site, Content Licensing and Content Creation are the best. If you need management of your online content, subscriptions and billing, PublisherConnect would be more beneficial. We’re always available to review your needs and our program options, feel free to contact us anytime.
  2. How much do your content partner programs cost?
    There are both no cost and premium options for qualifying websites with: HeadlineConnect, PartnerConnect and PublisherConnect. We share ad revenue with you.

  3. Whom do you typically license content you?
    We license our content to a diverse set of companies and organizations, operating in many different markets. We take each of our relationships very seriously and ensure that each agreement has value for both parties. Contact us for more information.
  4. What are your licensing terms?
    Terms and conditions are unique to each licensing relationship; as a general rule, we prefer longer relationships that allow for growth with both companies profiting from the partnership. In that regard, licensing fees and revenue share agreements are dependent upon the type of partnership into which we've entered.
  5. How much does your content cost?
    The cost of our content is dependent upon several factors, including (but not limited to) the type and amount of usage of the licensed content, the primary market in which the content will be used, the business model of your company or organization, and the general value of the content being licensed.
  6. I've submitted a contact inquiry: how long will it take a representative to contact me?
    We will make every effort to respond to your inquiries within 2 business days.
  7. What should I expect when an AcquireContent representative contacts me to discuss my licensing inquiry?
    We work together on building the right content, pricing and length of licensing term. Once our mutual business terms are in place, we will work with you to produce a contract based on the agreed upon terms. After the contract is reviewed and signed, we can usually begin delivering content the next day.
  8. How will I receive my licensed content?
    We have multiple, flexible options for content delivery, both in our formats and in our methods for delivery. Our content support staff will work directly with your company or organization to ensure that our content delivery is optimized for your business.
  9. In what format will I receive my licensed content?
    Our content is highly structured and normalized: we currently deliver content in either XML or fielded / tagged ASCII; regardless of formats, we supply detailed data specifications and DTDs (document type definitions) for all of our formats. In addition, our content includes robust metadata that allow our partners to very easily integrate our content into their products, sites, and services.
  10. How frequently is the content updated?
    While the frequency of update frequently depends on the specific publication, AcquireContent will deliver updated content to you as soon as updates are available.

    We can create editorial content on business, lifestyles, health, popular culture, hobbies, how-to, biography, science, the arts, careers and more. We can create world-class content on all subject areas.
  12. Contextually, what type of content can you produce?
    We can create engaging works from articles, timetables, glossaries, term definitions and “Did you know?” items, to background on events and primary documents, homework helpers and quizzes. We even create video scripts, blogs and digital newsletters.

    We can definitely optimize your content with quotes, pop-up blurbs, fast facts, annotated lists, links and trivia. We know how to bring your site to life!

    We will work with you to identify the list of publications that are most relevant to the subject area of your site. The sources of the headlines include: popular magazines, newspapers, books, journals and more.
  15. Is HeadlineConnect difficult to implement on our site?
    We make it simple. You pass the search terms and we return the related articles which are delivered in a simple XML format.
  16. How do I make money with HeadlineConnect?
    HeadlineConnect gives you the opportunity to monetize your pages more effectively through revenue you can earn when users sign up for subscriptions with HighBeam Research.

    17. PartnerConnect/PublisherConnect

  17. How do I make money with PartnerConnect?
    With having a content subdomain, you will gain additional traffic and more opportunities to monetize through advertising, affiliates and subscription bounties.
  18. How difficult is PartnerConnect to implement?
    We make it simple. You provide a DNS entry and we build, host, maintain and update your subdomain. You just follow some simple guidelines to link back to the subdomain from your main site in order to make sure the site content more accessible to your users and more discoverable by searchers on the Web.
  19. Will our PartnerConnect and/or PublisherConnect subdomain look like our regular site?
    Yes! We create your subdomain with the same look and feel or can make it completely unique. We leave that up to you to decide.
  20. How do I make money with PublisherConnect?
    With your subdomain, we include solutions like flexible subscription options, recurring billing, free trials, payment methods, and coupons. You’ll also have opportunities to earn more with subscription bounties to HighBeam Research and free inclusion in their partner program.
  21. How difficult is PublisherConnect to implement?
    You provide a DNS entry and your content which is loaded into our system. Together, we decide what type of premium model you would like to work with for example, subscriptions vs. individual item sales, free trials, billing cycles, prices, etc. Then we build, host, maintain and update your subdomain.
